Meet The New Rider Graham Berry # 944

Meet #944 Graham Berry from Perth Western Australia, he is married with 3
wonderful children and a wife that supports him in everything he does."Graham
is a FIFO worker within the mining industry who likes to travel, when home on
break he takes every opportunity available to enjoy the outdoors with his wife,
friends and family and spending time riding his Ultra Limited whenever the
opportunity presents.
Graham is the type of person that sets regular personal goals and challenges
that are aimed at pushing himself beyond personal limits and getting outside
his comfort zone. He considers himself an adventurous person and believes
"there is no bigger adventure or challenge in life, that can break down every
facade and make you discover who you actually and truly are, than the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge."The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge is all about doing  something better for someone else while enriching your own personal life. My goal is to give it my all
and finish no matter what it takes while knowing I am part of a very select few
that have taken on and completed one of the most grueling and testing
endurance rides in the world. By the end of the challenge I know it will have left
me with a life changing experience and one of personal enlightenment.
The HHMC is renowned for testing and challenging riders both mentally and
physically, Graham believes to succeed at the HHMC you need to ride with
integrity, show respect and compassion towards fellow riders, while being
totally committed to the HHMC and what it stands for. The best advice I have
been given about the HHMC is to ride your own ride and not concern yourself
with what other riders are or aren’t doing during the challenge, and that the
ride will constantly test your inner strength and resolve, as every /bre of your
mind and body is hurting telling you to quit. I heard about the HHMC through
my good mate Greg Smith who is also undertaking the ride as we both ride
representing Australia. Aussie mateship embodies the very ideals of honor,
respect, integrity, commitment, and compassion that underpin the rider ethos
for the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. "
The HHMC is an opportunity to raise much needed awareness and funds for Parkinson's Disease here in Western Australia via sponsorship and donations.
Parkinson’s is a disease and charity that is close to my heart while also being
one of many charity organizations that receives very little funding throughout
Australia.
