Meet The New Rider Dana D'arcy # 919

This Lady is a force to be reckoned. She has worked harder than any other rider we are aware of. She really wants this. She loves to go to concerts but really doesn't want to meet the star because in her mind she perceives how they are and she doesn't want to be disappointed. But as far as Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenger's, she stalks them. And she sees the very friendly riders who do the event and wants to be a part of that.

While getting her motorcycle endorsement at E.B Chester's Harley Davidson she notice a guy packing his bike for what appeared to be a long trip and thought it was strange that they let people  pull their bike in the dealership and pack it up. Curious she inquired and found out it was the owner of the dealership. The one and only E.B. Chester was packing up to do the HHMC. She tucked the information she had learned in her mind and then continued to see riders on social media talking about it. "I want to do what they are doing."

In preparation for the challenge she has been riding a lot and talking with as many riders as she can. Being a Florida girl she has intentionally gone riding when it was cold to help condition herself for the differing weather she may encounter. Getting out of her comfort zone. She has started gearing her exercise program to strengthen her endurance.  She knows this will test her physically and mentally.

The challenge for Dana is a marathon not a race. She knows sometimes things happen and has not set herself to be disappointed if she doesn't make the finish line. Just participating for now is enough. The conversation with riding girl friends are not about clothes and hairstyles, they are more about cots, and tents and riding gear.

Dana will be supporting Cat's Exclusive which is a no kill shelter who help find forever homes for cats, making taking care of your pets something that doesn't cost a small fortune offering low cost Vet services. Every other Saturday they do low cost vaccinations too.
