The 2024 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge will be my second time around! I’m rider #1096 Sandra K Wallace AKA Kinki. I began the 2022 challenge with great expectations and had a challenge-ending accident, less than 300 miles from the finish on day 11. Where I broke a few bones and totaled my motorcycle in the Badlands of South Dakota. April 1, 2023, I purchased new iron— a 2021 Indian Dark Horse Challenger.
On my new motorcycle, I went back to the scene of the 2022 accident and finished the remaining miles of the challenge. Then I was off to the 2023 HH rendezvous to hang with my Hoka Hey family. Since then I have over 25 IBA rides on my Indian. Of these 25+ IBA rides, I can say I40 end to end gold was my favorite one.
When I'm not riding, I like to spend my time in the yard, gardening and growing my own vegetables and fruits. My Labrador retriever, Harley Black, keeps me happy and healthy, playing fetch in the yard, and taking long daily walks/hikes.
The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge is more than a ride— it's an adventure that will test you on all levels. My advice to new riders is to ride your own ride —and don't forget to stop and take a pic!
My charity is Autism Speaks. I want to bring awareness to adults, as well as kids and their families living with autism. Everyone know someone who have been touched with autism and Autism Speaks is a wonderful charity that helps families deal with the different spectrum of autism. Please support any amount will be appreciated Autism Speaks
