Meet The New Rider # 1193 Craig Metcalf

 Hi! I am Craig Metcalf rider #1193; I am a Texan from Tomball turning 58 in May.
I have been with my beautiful bride and soul mate Sherry for over 32 years. We have 5 kids and 11
grandkids and love to spend our down time with them. She is also an avid rider, and we love
spending our vacations together riding. I will miss her riding on this adventure.

I heard about Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge from Rider #1197, and the more he talked about it and
introduced me to several of the Monster’s that have ridden the Challenge the more I got interested. I
have been riding since 2003 and have ridden several cross-country rides, but nothing of this
magnitude. I am looking forward to the challenge and enjoying many scenes in the US and Canada
that I have never seen before. It is an honor and privilege to be riding with some of the greatest
riders in the world, and I look forward to meeting you all.

I have chosen 2 charities to ride for
A) St. Jude Research Hospital: This organization really helped my family in a time of need when
my parents could not afford an operation on my baby sister who was born with congenital
heart disease. In fact, she was the youngest baby at the time to go through open heart
surgery. The financial, spiritual, and support they gave our family was unbelievable. We lost Lisa at the age of 17 just shy of her 18th birthday.

B) Hero Adventure, this organization also has a special place in my heart. These guys are
awesome and their beliefs in supporting our veterans and first responders hit right at our
core values in this great country.
