It’s your choice… You can sit at home and enjoy the comforts
around you or you can step out of the comfort zone and see if you still have
what it takes. You can either live your
life based on predetermined expectations or you can step off the paved road and
travel an unexpected path and by doing so learn something about yourself you
never knew existed. You can sit in your
easy chair and read an adventure novel or you can live a life from which
adventure novels are born.
The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge is not for everyone. There are those who try and fail, but they
must be commended and admired for trying.
Far too many look at a challenge and say, “I can’t do that.” Maybe they can’t, but if they never try they
will never know for sure and later in life they will always wonder what could
have been.
To say the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge will test you is an
understatement; it will endeavor to break you.
It will test your mental and physical resources. Your ability will be stretched to your limit
then it will be stretched a bit farther.
It is both demanding and stimulating.
Words cannot describe it, emotion cannot express it outwardly to another;
you must live it to understand.
Don’t, 20 years from now, sit in your chair and wonder what
you would do if faced with a real Challenge, but rather reminisce about what
you did when you accepted one. Recall
with satisfaction how you, when your strength was gone, overcame the obstacles,
redefined your own doubts and succeeded when others did not even try. Don’t regret because you didn’t step out,
step out so you don’t regret. “Shoulda,
Coulda, Woulda…” Nothing is more regrettable
than Unfinished Business.
