My name Bob Stegeman I’m 65 years old. I’m from Sullivan Mo. I’m a
retired phone technician. I started riding when I was 12. My first bike
to ride was a 1964 Honda 305 which I still have today.

My
Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge Rider number is 794. My first challenge was
2013. I have been in 3 challenges. With 2020 being # 4. I found out about
the Hoka Hey from a friend at work. After checking into it I thought I
can do this. I can ride doesn’t sound that hard.
WRONG! Since I started the Hoka Hey my Son - in - Law has joined
and will be riding this 2020. That’s good takes the pressure off this
old man. It gives the family someone else to think about not just
me. When
you ride the Hoka Hey you will meet the best riders in the world and the
craziest. You will get lost you’ll get mad 😡 you’ll give up and say
I’m done but at 3 o’clock in the morning and dark as hell you keep going
to find yourself. When you finish the challenge
you can say I DID IT .
For new riders my advice is get paper maps of all states look where you
are, look where you are going it helps me. And get a small flashlight 🔦
put a string on it put it around your neck
it’s good for seeing direction at night.
