My name is Dolly A. Johnson and in the motorcycle community my ride name is JUS’TIS. I currently live in Atlanta, Ga. and I have been a law enforcement officer for 40 years being assigned as the Commander from the Motorcycle Unit to SWAT team leader to K9/EOD Bomb Squad at our Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (Atlanta Police Department) then retired in 2019, now presently I'm a Major with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office as the Special Operations Section Motorcycle Unit/Traffic Unit/K-9/Task Force Commander and a motorcycle instructor and firearms instructor. My riding experience is long and wide to include slow speed maneuvers and long-distance riding. I currently ride a 2023 Harley Davidson Road Glide CVO or my 2024 Harley Davidson Pan America CVO.
I have been riding motorcycles for over 50+ years. My riding experience stem from dirt bikes to sport bikes to now Harley Davidson motorcycles. When I’m not working, I’m doing what I love doing and that’s riding my Harley Davidson motorcycles, playing basketball with friends, working out, in sisterly fellowship with my OES sisters, and my Harley’s Angels Motorcycle Club and non-Club wind sisters riding and just hanging out together having fun. My joy of riding include 48 States several times, USA Four Corners, Southernmost and Northernmost Angel Inlet and Canada, numerous IBA’s from 1000 in 24 hours to 1500 in 24 hours to include the Ride Around Texas to another 48 States in 8 days.
All my rides are paramount and awesome wind therapy to just to mention a few for my love of riding I want to ride the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge because I was inspired by watching and following my friends that have completed that awesome challenge since 2020. After doing some research and talking to finishers I feel I have the physical and mental ability and mindset to complete this challenge being mentally focused. I have accepted many challenges in my life and being physically and mentally focused I can complete this challenge by pushing my physical and mental limits, raising money for charities, and experiencing a challenge which is a rewarding adventure.
My non-profit fundraiser will be the Abundance Educational Institution out of Yazoo City, MS. Abundance Educational Institute, is an educational institute that provides a variety of diverse educational services and training to meet the needs of the entire community. Their services range from K-12 Christian Academy, high diploma program, tutoring services, continuing education services and community development programs.
I choose this organization because I want to be able to give back to the community through helping educate the current and future generations.
The monies will be used to help the organization help families give their children a good education by way of helping with tuition, funding for tutoring services and more
