Meet The New Rider # 1187 Gustavo Echeverria

From the time I was six years old, I knew that motorcycles would be a part of my life forever. It all started with a little monkey mini trail Honda Z50, sparking a passion that has shaped my journey in ways I never imagined.

Growing up in Venezuela, I fell in love with motocross and the thrill of conquering different tracks and terrains. But life took me on a new path when I moved to this country to pursue my education.

Years went by, and the longing to feel the wind in my face and the rumble of a powerful bike under me only grew stronger. Yet, I remained focused on my studies, driven by the dream of one day hitting the road again.  I had made a promised to my mom before I left Venezuela that wouldn't ride again until she came to the states and made Florida her permanent residency.  That dream came true, she was able to come to the USA and a few months later I bought my first Harley-Davidson.

For years, I heard countless stories from friends about the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge—a legendary test of endurance and spirit for riders. At first, it seemed like an impossible dream, something that only the boldest adventurers could tackle.
But here I am, on the verge of turning that dream into reality. August 2024 marks the month when I'll finally take on the Hoka Hey challenge, ready to embrace the unknown and push my limits like never before.

Riding isn't just a hobby for me—it's a way of life, a source of freedom, and a reminder that dreams are worth chasing. As I prepare for this epic journey, I carry with me the support of loved ones and the determination to make every mile count.

August 2024 isn't just a date on the calendar—it's the beginning of a new chapter, a testament to perseverance, and a celebration of the unwavering belief that anything is possible with passion and courage.

Finally, I will do fundraising for St. Jude , why?  Because thanks to them, no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food for their child.
