Meet The New Rider # 1151 Ron Krumenacker

I WAS BORN DECEMBER OF 1975 AND RAISED PRIMARILY IN A SMALL TOWN NEAR
ALTOONA, PA. I AM THE OLDEST OF 4 WITH 3 YOUNGER SISTERS. I GRADUATED FROM PORTAGE AREA HIGH SCHOOL IN 1994. IN APRIL 1995, I ENLISTED IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS AND RETIRED IN JANUARY 2016 AFTER 20 YEARS OF SERVICE. I STARTED RIDING MOTORCYCLES AROUND 2002 WITH MY FIRST BIKE BEING A 1981 HONDA 1100 GOLDWING. I SOLD IT BEFORE GETTING STATIONED IN OKINAWA JAPAN WHERE I BOUGHT MY FIRST HARLEY, A 2001 SPORTSTER 883 WHICH I CONVERTED TO A 1200. I BROUGHT THE SPORTSTER BACK STATESIDE ONLY TO SELL IT PRIOR TO GOING BACK TO OKINAWA. ONCE BACK IN OKINAWA, I PURCHASED A 2008 SOFTAIL NIGHTTRAIN, WHICH I STILL HAVE. DUE TO THE INCREASE OF LONGER TRIPS, I ADDED TO MY COLLECTION OF HARLEY DAVIDSONS AND PURCHASED A 2012 STREET GLIDE. I ONLY HAD IT FOR
A SHORT TIME BEFORE IT WAS INTRODUCED TO A DEER UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. FROM THERE I PURCHASED A 2019 ULTRA LIMITED, TRADED IT IN ON A 2019 ROADGLIDE WHICH THEN WAS TRADED IN FOR MY CURRENT BIKE, A 2024 ROADGLIDE. I AM HAPPILY MARRIED TO MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE, HEIDI, WITH 2 DAUGHTERS, A GRANDSON AND ONE ON THE WAY (DUE DURING THE MONTH OF THE CHALLENGE). I CURRENTLY RESIDE NEAR ALTOONA, PA.

I WAS INTRODUCED TO THE Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge IN 2022 BY A FELLOW COMBAT VETERAN MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION® (CVMA®) BROTHER WHO COMPLETED THE 2022 HOKA HEY MOTORCYCLE CHALLENGE. DUE TO MY LOVE FOR RIDING AND ALWAYS LOOKING FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE IN LIFE, I KNOW I WILL APPRECIATE THE CHALLENGE IT PRESENTS.

MY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION IS THE Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA®) CHAPTER 22-4, AN ASSOCIATION OF COMBAT VETERANS FROM ALL BRANCHES OF THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES WHO LOVE RIDING MOTORCYCLES AND ARE A REGISTERED 501(C) (19) VETERANS CHARITY. 100% OF THE MONEY RAISED FOR THIS EVENT WILL GO TO VETERANS IN NEED. “VETS HELPING VETS”
