Mitch # 104 of Winchester, Va. has ridden two Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge’s 2010,
11 and looks forward to riding 2016 from Pala, Ca. to Irving, NY. Riding to
Alaska is what caught his interest in the beginning and became a personal
challenge. Never in it for the money and
with the mind set to find himself out there up against bad road conditions and
weather that first year made the challenge really tough. Making the arrival in
Homer, AK and learning two lives had been lost was even tougher.
Everything was so beautiful Spider Lake, Tahoe road was so
amazing “I turned around and rode it again,” was the respond Mitch had when
asked about his favorite part of the route.
He has been sponsored by Sinful Cycles and they were a huge help when Mitch broke
down in 2011 and they were able to call someone to help him. This year Mitch is sponsored by Body Gallery and will be riding
a 2013 Road glide for this year’s challenge and will share the road with a new
riders and friends of his Brian Edwards #838 and John Maynard. Mitch will be raising money for the Pine Ridge Area Chamber of Commerce and has created a gofundme account for donations.
