Meet the Rider: Rich Griffith # 725

Griff # 725 of Waterford, Michigan has ridden three Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge's and is looking forward to the 2016 event and dreading it at the same time knowing what he has ahead of him. His passion for other is so evident because he realizes the new riders have "no clue" what's in store for them he has offered to lead in prayer before the riders leave on their life changing journey from the starting line at the Pala Resort and Casino.

Remembering the metal bridge he crossed in the wind and rain in Vermont with fallen rider Newton Pereira made him thankful for the time he had spent with him. With Newtons great outlook on life Griff was hoping his positive attitude might rub off on him. He advises new riders to spend time getting to know your fellow brothers and sisters and help each other out on the road because this may be the last time you see them and feels honored to be part of this great group of people.

The movie Cannonball Run was the inspiration Griff claims to be the reason he rides the HHMC. "Running all over our great country not knowing where or when the next check point is at is amazing in itself." Dawns Stamping thoughts and ABC Harley Davidson are sponsoring his ride and he is doing fund raising for Operation Injured Soldiers.
