Meet The New Rider Robert Krauter # 898

Being able to see the country he hasn't seen is what has attracted Robert to rode the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. He has seen a sticker on someones bike and then heard about it from someone at the Harley dealership in Roswell, NM where he lives. He has quit smoking as way to prepare himself for the ride. He knows he may see all different weather conditions out there so being ready is his main objective.

His community has been very supportive of his efforts along with Champion Harley Davidson. He wants to see the finish line so sleeping next to the bike will be a very different way of doing things for him and his riding friend Lee. They have come up with an idea to make this task easy and comfortable by welding a bracket on the back of their bikes to hold a cot/tent. They can have it up and ready to sleep in less than 4 minutes. He knows this challenge will test his riding ability and teaches you what you are capable of doing. Pushing you to your limits.

Robert is helping support the Wounded Warrior Project and says he was inspired by Adam Sandoval while he is Scooting around America with his dog.  Robert is not new to fund raising. His local riding club does an event every year because he knows "There is always someone who needs something."
