After hearing about the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge from a friend who is signed up to ride and learning what that meant he was in immediately. The whole idea of crossing the country "Old School Ways," back roads, not just blasting down interstates seeing things he hasn't seen before. To prepare he has been trying to quit smoking and cutting down on caffeine. Getting the time off has been the biggest obstacle he has had to over come.
Getting support from family and friends and Ray C's Harley Davidson,who will be prepping his bike before the challenge has helped. The friends who know what the HHMC is think its "pretty cool." The best advice he has been given is "don't let the adrenaline take over when you first leave out and think you can ride for days and days." It will catch up with you. Looking forward to making new friends and forming new friendships with like minded people is a big attraction to Rich.
The local American Legion Post #449 will benefit from his ride.
