Riding motorcycle is pretty much the only thing Dale does for fun so the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge was calling his name. Running in the iron butt circle you see a lot of HHMC riders and that is how he first learned about the challenge. "Riding straight through, sleeping next to the bike and no electronics" were three attractions to the event. He even went out an bought a Harley so he could enter.
Supported by his family he is ready to take on any obstacles that may come his way. "Ride and ride and ride, that's what I like to do." His hope is to "finish but really just to ride on two lane roads and look at the scenery as I go by." He knows this will push his riding to a new level.
Two Grandchildren who have spent time at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. So he will be riding to support them. He has learned this can happen to anyone and so thankful they were available to help his family.
