Meet The New Rider # 1074 Ron Shasteen

 

My name is Ron “Khaos” Shasteen and I’ll be 64 years young at the start of The 2026  Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge.  I started riding at 6 years old when my parents bought a house in the country. It all started with a mini bike and then at the age of 16 I got a Harley Sportster. A few weeks later a friend of mine’s brother let me ride his 1976 Harley SuperGlide and I knew I needed a bigger V-Twin.

 

 

 

I rode to Sturgis for the 1st time in 1983 at the age of 21,I’ve now ridden to Sturgis well over 15 times.I’m an avid motorcyclist with over 500,000 documented miles by H.O.G. on 27 different Harleys that I’ve owned.I’m grateful and looking forward to this opportunity to be a rider in The 2026 Hoka Hey and the upcoming challenges and meeting everyone and making life long friendships.

 

 

 

I will be riding for Mile Monsters Inc and raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We ride to make the world a better place.  Money raised goes to help children affected by disease, injuries and circumstances out of their control. The kids we help need a MONSTER in their corner to help fight the battle with them.
