- I first heard about the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge when a friend dropped off a flyer and thought I would be interested in the ride. I am always up for a challenge so after a discussion with Laura and getting her approval, I submitted an application.Though my closest friends think I need to have my head examined, they are all in to support this adventure.I have been prepare by riding as much as possible in the same manner needed for the HHMC. I am currently in Harrison, Ark for a week of riding the back roads andcurves in preparation for the route in July. I have reached out to others that have done the HHMC for advise, the common theme is water, water and more waterto stay hydrated and don't forget the protein. Well, trying to drop a pound or two before hand. When not riding, you can find me cooking a dish or two in Dutch Ovens outside . A hobby that lead to publishing a cookbook on the subject.I am sponsored by our local Indian Dealership, Shreveport CycleI am riding for the Warrior Network "It Is Good To BeBlessed, But Better To Be A Blessing." The Warrior Network Is Truly That To OurMilitary Members And Families, For Which We Are at Barksdale AFB.andStep Up For Blue, supporting Prostate Cancer Awarenessand Research
