While searching the internet for the meaning of the word Hoka Hey, Dick stumbled onto the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. After reading what that was he thought it sounded interesting and applied for the challenge. He will be riding a 2001 Ultra and has been doing some work on it to modify it to make changes he thinks will help during the challenge. His mental stability has been question about his desire to undertake a challenge of this magnitude but when he puts his mind to something he gets it done.Dick will be riding a per mile sponsorship for the Shriner Hospital for Children. He has been involved with the Shiners since 1972.
