Meet The New Rider # 1117 Brenda Monismith

Hello, my name Brenda “Beaner” Monismith
Rider #1117

I grew up in Cleveland, Wisconsin.

I’ve been riding most of my life since a young child over the last 30 years, I have ridden as often as time would allow.

I don’t recall my first motorcycle ride because my dad took me when I was a toddler.
I love getting on the bike with my dad.
motorcycling is in our dna.
My parents were in the motorcycle club  “Peace Makers” and I got to go to a lot of events with them. I would look at all the bikes and say “I will have one like this and one like this Someday.”
I recall my first - time riding by myself it was on a green mini dirt bike?

I am semi-retired, I am doing my fun job Harley - Davison Riding Academy as well as a certified motorcycle safety foundation instructor.
I work at
Madison, WI
Cartersville, Georgia

I also teach in Sanford, Florida

My husband Dustyn is Hoka Hey finisher from 2022.

I love to ride my motorcycles it gives me peace, stress relief, therapy and my happy place. So many great adventures in my travels.
I have had different types of bikes over the years. My first Harley Davidson was a 1983 iron head sportster. My husband and I have a 2017 softail slim a 2017 Dyna Low rider  S  a 2021 Pan America special and a 2022 Pan American Special.

My husband and I love to travel as often as we can and try to do it on our motorcycles.
We do long distance travels.

I have had some of my happiest and fun adventures  when I have been on two wheels,
I am also passionate about sharing the joys of motorcycle with others.

I have chosen Band of Blue for my charity for fallen police officers families.
When I get asked why band of blue “Police  put their life on the line for us.”
It’s so important to give  back to those who protect us.
Mission for Band of Blue is of creating transformative experience for families of fallen officers. This experience have the power to uplift, bring hope, and ultimately prove that in the wake of tragedy, children and spouses of fallen heroes can find a reason to smile again.
Your donation makes a difference.

I want to ride the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge to challenge myself to see what I am made of and of course seeing this beautiful country.
I’ve heard of a Hoka Hey Motorcycle challenge years back and I’ve been waiting for this one this ride to Homer, Alaska.
